About This Event
The Modesto Marathon is the crown jewel of the ShadowChase race series. It is truly an event not to miss.
Drawing well over 3000 runners each year, this is a race that is as great an experience for runners as it is for spectators. This weekend long event features an expo, over 2 dozen bands and a kid’s fun zone.
There is no other sporting event in Modesto of this caliber.

7:00 AM – Marathon, Half Marathon Start
7:25 AM – 10k, 5K Start
7:25 AM – 5K Walkers and Kids Under 12
9:00 AM – Overall 10k, 5k awards
9:30 AM – Overall half marathon awards
11:00 AM – Overall marathon awards
2:00 PM – Course closes
