2024 Spirit of Giving Fun Run is around the corner on
Saturday,14th December 2024.
5K Run/Walk 8:30am-11:00am.
Kid’s Grinch Run 9:45am-10am.
Location: 1010 10th Street, Modesto.
Come one come all. The more the merrier. Bring your cute young ones and a stroller too. Bring your entire family and don’t forget to invite your friends, coworkers, and neighbors to this annual Spirit of Giving festival in downtown Modesto.
Come dressed in your lovely festive Christmassy costumes, with your colorful ribbons & bows, bright colorful socks, and hats too. Ring your bells, sing songs, and make plenty of noise because the grinch hates noise most of all.
This year Spirit of Giving with other organizations has lots of other fun activities for everyone besides the 5K run. The most famous one of all is the kid’s free fun run with the grinch. The grinchy green Grinch will want to stop the Christmas from coming to Modesto. We are counting on all the boys and girls to stop the Grinch from ruining Christmas and to chase the Grinch out of town.
Boys and girls can win a bike, or different sort of toys with the raffle tickets. It is going to be snowing around the Santa’s village. Play in the snow. Stop by and get your pictures taken with Mr. & Mrs. Santa Clause on their bright red sleigh. Take as many pictures as possible with Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus. Dance and laugh to the holiday music and eat some after your run snacks.
You and your family can win a ticket to go see a movie at Brendan theater for bringing a canned food, socks, hats, gloves, blankets, and hand warmers for those mommies, daddy’s, boys, and girls that do not have warm food to eat or warm clothes to wear. The Gospel Mission in Modesto will see that above needy families will promptly receive your generous donations. You can make monetary donations online website where you signed up for the run.
