Their hearts were broken and so are ours.
We send sympathy to their family and friends
Dan DeSart
Dan worked for A.L. Gilbert Company of Oakdale for over 25 years.
Dan loved to hunt, fish, camp, and hike as often as he could with friends and family. He was also an avid runner and cyclist with 25 marathons, numerous century rides, and several triathlons to his name. He participated in many ShadowChase relay teams making many memoires with club members along the way. No memorial events are currently scheduled. To offer your sympathy during this difficult time, in lieu of flowers, you can donate to his favorite charities, The American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org) or The American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
Emmanuel Tsompanas
Emmanuel was an Aerospace engineer for his career but he had a great passion and volunteered for the Turlock Amateur Radio Club.
He helped at the ShadowChase Western States aid station for a couple years and had a blast using his radio skills.
He started running several years ago with ShadowChase when he met Sheila Rose and married Sheila a couple years ago. They enjoyed coming to the monthly socials and memories were made discussing gardening, farming and healthy food, among other interests. We would often see him in the park biking with their dogs or walking them almost daily. Services are not open to the public. In lieu of flowers his favorite charity was the Turlock Amateur Radio Club, P.O. Box 2821, Turlock, Ca. 95381
